1984 MERCEDES 280 SL AUTO - MASSIVE HISTORY FILE - JUST BEEN MOT'D - DAILY USE

Welcome to this listing of this 'One of a Kind' 280 SL Convertible.

The Previous owner had it from 2003 until last year and used it regularly and kept it maintained by a local garage and spent over £11,000 for which I have all the receipt for servicing and general maintenance throughout this time.

I bought it a year ago directly from the previous owner and I've spent quite a bit on improving what was in general a very nice car.

I've had all new fluids, Plugs, Leads and filters changed.  I've had a new hood fitted by C.E. Moores, in Neasden.  A full set of brand new Dunlop tyres fitted and it was MOT'd on 30th July with no advisories and the Leather interior was reconolised by a specialist.

It has the rear seat conversion and all the leather is in really good condition.

I use the car whenever it is NOT raining and it starts every time - first time and runs like a dream.  Everything works on the car as it should and there are no known faults.  I've had a modern stereo system filled with a USB port and an electric arial.  I have the original hard top which does have a few minor paint chips on the edges and a little rust on the bottom edge.

I have the original service book with the data card still intact and the first owner was "Lady Betty Stockdale' from Wetherby and she bought it in October 1984 from North Riding Garages and the service book show the following;

As you can see from the history and MOT certificates, this car has been extremely well looked after and used regularly.

This is a really great looking car which is in excellent condition bearing in mind it's age and mileage and it can be driven away on purchase without any issues or worries.

The values of the R107's are only going one way and you'll struggle to find anything better for less than £25K.
