WOW! What a stunning example!, , The Lancia Montecarlo is an iconic Pininfarina designed mid-engined sports car which was produced by Lancia. This SERIES 2, 2000cc engined, 1983 registered vehicle comes with a unique factory roll-back manually operated targa style convertible and is finished in a stunning sand colour with the satin black nose cone. The bodywork is in great shape and we are told by the current owner that it was repainted just six years ago. The lacquer as per the photos has a great depth and shine. The wheels are in fabulous condition and interior was retrimmed at some point which looks great with some two tone sections that work perfectly with the exterior colour. The car starts on the key, runs very well indeed and the noise produced by the TWIN 40 carbs and upgraded exhaust system is outstanding. The gears are easy to select and the clutch feels right. The Lancia has had 5 owners in total and the last owner since 2011. , This little Monte Carlo has undergone a recent recommission which includes new tyres, new targa seals and rubbers with a new windscreen (original had delaminated slightly), stainless steel exhaust, cambelt, tensioners and water pump, brake caliper service and new brake pads, new plugs, Carburettor gaskets, leads and distribution cap and new CV joints and rubbers. , , The car is available to view and we are happy to arrange a test drive. , , Please get in touch discuss this car further....
