Hi this Lancia Beta is a rare beast indeed having personally used it for a month as a daily driver covering over 500 trouble free miles including a 286 mile round trip to a show. The 1300 Twin Cam engine is very lively and the exhaust note sounds great rasping away as you put some of the modern tin to shame as you drive past. It has a FIVE speed manual gear box as STANDARD from factory and changes very smoothly and effortlessly, it is just a great performer and very comfortable seating up to five adults with a surprisingly large boot too. It's in great overall condition with some minor blemishes to the paintwork which don't retract from the overall look of the car, after all lets face it most of these have perished away this being a true survivor. The top of the front suspension mounts have signs of welding at some point in its life but look professionally done and the top of the rear seat has some fading and tearing which is currently covered with a blanket to protect against further sun damage. So if you want something a little different that doesn't come at the price of a Ford Escort but is in my opinion a much better car and driver than any standard Ford Escort I've ever driven you can't go wrong with this Beta. Last MOT past with no advisory's 23-05-2019. It is now MOT and Tax exempt but can come with a new MOT at request of new owner. Recent water pump and cam belt change with oil and filter service. Also had a headlight upgrade to halogen from sealed beams. This car is ready to be enjoyed and driven just for fun or car shows if you wish it will more than likely be the only one there....Comes with spare keys a history file having only had 3 owners from new and been well looked after.....
