The Morris Minor was fitted with the 1100 cc “A” series engine from 1962 onwards. giving a useful increase in top speed and mid range torque. Various other improvements were made. mainly to the interior. a glove box lid was fitted and a new heater. The Minor saloon stayed in production until 1971 when it was officially replaced by the Marina.

This car is a 1966 Morris Minor in Trafalgar Blue. It has had just three owners from new. the first from 1966 until 2010 when it was retailed by Minor specialist Charles Ware at £5500 and has covered just 72. 00 miles. I bought this car in 2012 and sold it to its last owner who sold it back to me recently due to ill-health. It is in beautiful order and runs and drives very well. The underside is very good – it has been restored just once and there is an absence of patches and plates as so many of these cars have.

It is fitted with various extras including a full length Webasto folding roof. front and rear inertia belts. extra gauges. chrome door mirrors and headlight. The folding roof is particularly desirable and is a great compromise if you don't want the expense of buying a tourer. Currently MOT'd until February 2014 and will be supplied with 12 months MOT and of course classic (free) tax. Viewing near Woburn. Beds. Please call if more detail is required.
