In 1967. there were three Mustang body styles that Ford offered a Sedan dubbed a Coupe. a folding roof referred to as the Convertible and this model the 2+2 Fastback or sports roof model.   These popular cars were set up for two passengers in the front seat and two also in the rear seat. that's why it's a 2+2 . Nice body lines and plenty of interior room. this was the bodystyle which became the signature piece of Ford's racing sporty Mustang line.

With such a aerodynamic design it became the platform for the GT 350 and GT500 Shelby's Sports roof as well as the Bullitts and Eleanors which were some of the most appreciated muscle cars.  The Fastback Mustang was the star of many Hollywood movies like one of our favorites "Gone in 60 seconds featuring Eleanor and like we noted Fords sponsored racers.

We are offering this as a project car in as is condition needing a complete restoration. We bought this car with a clean Florida title and it will be offered with that title. We purchased this classic from a builder who began the restoration and traded it in on a another unit from us.  The busyness of our shop has moved us to need the space so we are ready to let this go as is verses taking it to the next level and doing so that will save you big $$'s

Can you imagine the time it took to remove the rusty panels and prep it to recieve new ones that are included. You will recieve both full quarter panels with inner & outer wheel houses. trunk floors. rear frame rail. tail light panel. deck lid. Also a 1 piece full floor with seat pans and forward frame metal panels.  2 good used doors. new fenders. Hood.  grill support headlight extensions front and rear valances with host of other needed items to complete the exterior from original louvers  we are also including all glass with hardware.

K. this car offers the restorer a blank canvas with only your imagination to hold you back.  This classic could easily be restored as a 289 / 428 Big Block Mustang or Eleanor even a GT500 Shelby clone the skies the limit. Also keep in mind I have thousand of new and used parts so making your project easy on the parts search doesn't have to leave here we got it all. The car was a factory C code which is a 289 with a 2 barrel carb but is currently without a motor. The motor compartment area is intact without damage and the cowl is just fine. the rails are intact and you'll be supplied with the metal thats needed to make you happy.  

The body is in above average condition free of rust and all the body panels are in the same good condition.  Although most of the factory trim. moldings are missing we are offering fastback related parts at our discretion. We added some new parts that we installed for our pictures as this car was somewhat disassembled and missing pieces when we found it.

This car has clear VIN stamping so it will make for a great build although it is need of quite a bit of qualified restorers attention.   What you see is what you get!  This would make an excellent starting point for your Eleanor or classic vintage Mustang project.
