1960 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Beatle

I've decided to sell my 1960 VW Convertible.   Spent over  3 years building and no expense or attention to detail was left out.   It now has  Less than 300 Break in miles since built .            Started with Nice  Dry  Straight  Rust  free  Texas  car  that had been garaged for over 25 years with a blown engine. To list all the details would need a book.   SO here is  the short list:

Engine 2332 cc built by Pat Downs of CB performance  . ot on waiting list. Built and shipped to Texas . No Used parts   all NEW . nbsp;  Made  198 Horsepower on dyno with 10 to 1 compression . Aluminum case. CNC ported heads. 48 mm Webbers . oller rockers.  Full flowed oiling .  Vented valve covers to one off aluminum vent  box . Serpentine belt. .  On and On and  Only the best parts were installed  All New.   Have all build sheets and dyno sheets. One off  Remote oil filter and fan cooled oil cooler with thermostat .  Electric fuel pump. Trans is a custom  Rick  Graffeo  built  close ratio swing with lots of mods including a pair of  New old stock Crown axels . 2300 # Kennedy clutch . Berg shifter . rick Neal Vented disc brakes with parking brake as well. Front has CB vented Disc Brakes and dropped spindles. Braided Stainless brake lines front and rear. Vented gas tank . Nitrogen gas shocks on all 4 corners. Every bushing . seal  . Bearing. nbsp;nut . bolt is new . Stainless hardware was used throughout. Wiring was professionally done with new harness  by Well known  professional wiring guru  Jim  Wittenburg  of  Ft  Worth none nicer . Has German Made aluminum  traction bar . Solid mounted Engine and trans with one off custom mounts. nbsp; 5   BMR wheels with one off center caps . Correct and restored jack.  Pro car seats. Simpson Harnesses. Functional  one off  Double hoop roll bar .      Haartz Canvas  Top   and  bows are as nice as you will ever find  . ( spent $3000 on complete  build. )  see to appreciate fit and finish its beautiful  .  Back window is original glass and perfect.  It has  black snap on canvas tonneau   cover as well. Body was striped to bare metal and has less than a cup of filler in it. Wont find a better body.  Was  base and clear coated in pieces on separate stands then assembled and brought home . Spent $ 8. 00 and it is Beautiful.     High  polished  German stainless that fits like it should.  Bottom of car is as Clean as the top. One off ribbed aluminum powder coated  bumpers.  Polished stainless Head light screens.  Chrome Stinger exhaust  sounds like a barrel Full of mad Hornets .      New glass. weather striping throughout.  Re chromed  side windows and vent trim  (not cheap) This  is better than a new car . Every steering  and suspension component is new. nbsp;  Tires still have nubs. This car   Runs . Drives . Shifts  . Handles  And Stops Masterfully . It has less than 300 break in miles. (speedo was reset to zero during build. nbsp;) and is Show quality through out . Fit and finish is outstanding .    IT Will Spank most cars on the Street.   Unbelievable  Power to weight ratio.  !!!     I've left a lot of stuff out. This car has Won first place at large All VW car show all years convertible class against really nice convertibles. Could win at Best Paint as well as best engine . interior if entered .  I have stacks of receipts  for reference and the complete engine build sheet and  dyno  sheet.      This  is my personal car that I built and you are welcome to come see at my house in FT Worth TX for full inspection .
