A true survivor. this truck has its original. rebuilt motor with a recently rebuilt original Ball & Ball carburetor. she starts up every time and runs like an absolute champ. Very enjoyable original rebuilt powerplant with a fun to drive torque curve. Truck hails from Maine via Massachusetts and was a working truck. purchased from a fella whose father used her as a painters truck decades ago. His one man band painting operation was named being Steady Hand. which is how she earned her nickname and is subtly noticed in paint on doors.
Motor has been gone through in the last decade by a specialty rebuild / machine shop in Maine. Put a rebuilt. factory original carb in recently along with a tune. she starts right up every time and just purrs. Original paint on cab with just the rear wheel wells seeming to have been re-painted with a clear coat added at some point. Truck still has its original bed wood with some remnants of her career charmingly noticeable. Loaded from the factory with all available options which was only one as i understand. a map light.

During my time with this truck. I've done everything that I feel she deserves to be a really well respected nod to a true original. great running specimen. Only selling to make some room for a new shop move where I wont have room to park her inside.
