LANCIA FULVIA ZAGATO SPORT 1600 HF 1972 RALLY/RACE CAR

For sale is this lovely Zagato Fulvia 1600. Very rare indeed and especially in this kind of condition. I believe less than 900 1600cc Zagatos were produced although the actual number varies somewhat depending on who you talk to. Chassis number 818. 750. 001. 534. There is no rust apart from a 20p size spot on the fuel filler cap. That's it! It really is in superb condition body wise. Underneath is like new with the floor pans and sills totally rot free.  Front subframe also is in great condition and belies it's 42 years of age. It has a valid German TUV test certicicate.  TUV are very stringent and cars are thoroughly scrutinized and gone over with a fine tooth comb! Having a valid TUV testifies to this cars current condition which is excellent. Very quick 1600cc engine with tonnes of torque. By far the quickest Fulvia I've had in stock including Group 4 prepared rally cars. Just had a service including:OEM oil filter and oil change. New Magnecor 8mm HT leadsNew spark plugs. New Lucas Sport ignition coil. Dellorto 45s set up properly. Engine shows good oil pressure when warm. The tuned 1584cc engine comes with twin Dellorto 45s on a Group 4 inlet manifold. 14 inch gold Cromodora alloys. With the rare Munari steering wheel and Halda trip this Zagato is ideal for regularity rallying and has competed in numerous European events. First registered in 1972 it is eligible for free Historic Road Tax. Finished in a striking silver/black with HF livery. The riveted Group 4 arches coupled with the 6x14 Cromodora wheels give this Zagato Fulvia a purposeful stance. 4 Rally Spots lights. Inside it still retains the original Zagato highback seats along with the funky rear bench seat and included is a very desirable Sandro Munari steering wheel.  There is a full bolt in Sassa roll cage included in the sale. The co-driver/navigators instrument panel includes a period Halda trip meter. rally stopwatch and an oil temperature gauge. To sum up. a very rare and genuine Zagato Fulvia 1600 in superb condition.  You will not find another 1600 Zagato for sale like this for a very long time.  
Regarding the previous ownership of the Zagato. span > the last owner was Klaus Erlenbeck. he has rallied a few Fulvias and and entered this Zagato in a few classic rallies of the more gentler kind. Rhein-Nahe-Hunsrück Rallye. Nibelungen Rallye. DERTOUR Classic. He is selling his Fulvia collection in order to concentrate on his passion which is pre-war race cars.

If the buyer is UK based I will MOT and register the car free of charge. It is of course free for road tax. The reason that it is not yet registered for the UK is that I sell most of my cars to customers outside of the UK therefore it is a waste of time and money until I know where it is going.
