For sale is my lovely "step-front" 105 series Giulia Sprint GT designed by Bertone in Bianco Spina (white). The styling in fact was by Giorgetto Giugiaro and was one of his first major projects for Bertone. This 1965 car is exceedingly rare in this highly original condition; sadly so many of the 1043 RHD Sprint GTs manufactured were scrapped when the values were low in the late 1970's. 80's and early 90's and many were also converted into "track day" cars or "GTA" lookalikes. My car still has its original wheels. hub caps. bumpers etc. etc. This was originally a dry-state South African car brought into the UK in 2009.

The mileage is very low at 54. 82 miles. supported by documentation. The bodywork is excellent even with the original jacking points intact. The rear axle and brakes have been overhauled. When undertaking this work I refurbished the trailing arms and fitted adjustable Koni shock absorbers and uprated "fast road" rear springs. I have matching front shocks and springs which I haven't got around to fitting yet (these of course go with the car - I have also kept the original springs and shock absorbers if required).

I haven't touched the engine which seems pretty good for its age. the gearbox is fine except it does pop out of reverse. common issue. but the other common issue - second gear synchro is fine - so I have simply held the gearstick in reverse when reversing and have just "lived" with this. There is no radio fitted. the original radio blanking plate is still fitted in the dash.

The car is currently fitted with a period wood-rimmed Hellebore steering wheel with horn pushes in the spokes (much nicer to drive with) but the original black rimmed steering wheel and centre horn push of course go with the car. I have been told the car has a GTA front exhaust section. other than this it seems very original down to the correct matched pair of 40DCOE-4 Webber carbs.

The car has a current MOT certificate and of course has (current) Historic Vehicle free road tax. No canvassers please. and no part exchange offers thank you. Payment bank transfer only. collection only after cleared payment received. Can deliver at buyers expense.
