1974 FJ40 Land Cruiser

 

This is a Matching Numbers example with a Verified mileage of an unheard of 20. 60 miles (32. 67 km) This Particular FJ still has its Factory Snorkel. original Front Warn Locking Hubs. and Factory Spare Wheel Swing-Away Assembly

 

The original F Motor has just been gone through; flushed lines. cleaned Carburetors. new Distributor and Gaskets were installed. We have had no problem breaking 75 MPH since that work was carried out.  

 

The Chassis and Transmission are original. The Chassis is straight has been cleaned and coated

The Transmission has been gone through and shifts smoothly through all 4 gears

 

We had the correct Front 60/40 bench installed and the seats have been reupholstered all around. The floor boards do not have any rust and have been Rhino coated to ensure they stay that way


The Electrical System has been updated with Modern Fuses


For Security a Hidden Kill Switch was Installed that Disables the Vehicle completely

 

All Customs Import Papers and Titles (American and Costa Rican) are Clear and available. Car is in Florida and has Florida title.  

 

The only blemish this FJ40 has is it doesn't have a radio. but the hook ups and wires are there. So if you want to install an Era correct radio or a modern unit it's your choice

 

This FJ40 worked as a delivery truck for its original owner. a local fisherman. just outside of Cartago. Costa Rica. When the man sold his fishing boat he parked this Pristine Example in his barn and there she remained until we brought her back to life
