1983 Jeep CJ

This is an exceptional custom built rock crawler that is totally street legal. Last year after the Palo Duro Challenge. I stripped it down and completely rebuilt it. New custom flares and crusher corners as well as custom rock sliders. New professionally painted.  I have owned this jeep for years and it is totally awesome in its ability. It will go about anywhere you want to take it. Now let me describe this totally capable jeep. It has an excellent body with tons of customs body additions. Custom Ram Rock steering assist still factory steering as well just boosted. with heavy duty Currie steering units. It has a Chevrolet small block 400. with a Turbo 350 built automatic. Art Carr shifter. Has a Atlas II 4. 3 dual stick transfer case. $3. 00.  Custom drive shafts. Has a Wagoner Machine built Dana 60 front axle with Dedenbear ends and hardened axles with Detroit locker 456 gearing. cost over $9. 700. 00. Rear Currie Dana 60 axle with Detroit locker and 456 gears and hardened axles $7. 00. The leaf springs were removed and Eibach coils installed . will flex with the best of them and still run down the road straight and true. Currently running 38X12. 50X 15 Super Swampers . spare never on ground. True beadlocks that don't leak. Has a York air compressor with tank and  outlets front and rear. Also a Premier Power welder. with complete welding package as well as electrical 120 volt plug ins. Look under the hood and notice the wiring. not thrown together but very meticulesly installed. Has a Navajo Brake sytem built by Harold Off at Off-again in Farmington N. M. Will certainly stop and hold back all that gearing to the large tires.  Should have mentioned has Disc brakes all around. This Jeep has a Scrambler Half top on it and  YJ halve doors and hard upper halves. Also has a very rare Scrambler factory soft half top never out of the box. Is equipped with a unique roll cage that protects the top as well is tied into the frame and body steel. also a flip up rear cage that covers the trunk area and the included ice chest and a porta potty. as well as two 5 gallon gas cans. Has a hidden fuel cell. Also the two gas cans on the swing away spare carrier are not gas cans but two tool boxes disguised as gas cans. One holds tools which are all new and included the other holds the welding leads. hood and rods also included. This has a Warn winch controlled both from the inside as well as remotely when outside the jeep on it with a unique front roller system for rock crawling. Led light bar front and rear as well as led top directional signal and brake lights. Rear fender lights also LED's. The rear carrier is solid enough to use a high lift jack on it to lift the jeep. No rattles . Built in CB so much more I can't mention it all. Now it also comes with a set of 5 Pitbull rockers 4 new. one in great shape. size 39. 5X16. 5X15 tires cost over $4. 00 then a custom set of Beadlocks. Plus a custom built Tandem axle trailer with two 5200 LB. axles . Brakes on both axles. as well as swing over ramps and a place to carry all you camping gear.
