  We are offering this car for one of our customers. An excellent example of a 1954 MG TF. this car received a very nice restoration some time ago. This car is ready for a new and appreciative home. It has a bit of characteristic patina. but has held up fine over the years and could be proudly shown at any local car show.

 The car does have a convertible top that matches the tonneau cover. Both the top and tonneau are canvas. not vinyl. The top is in excellent condition and the tonneau has a few stains worth mentioning. The side curtains are missing. As far as we can tell. the only non-original parts include a set of “ALFIN” brake drums. and a collection of chromed bits under the hood (see photos). It also has an after market steering wheel. All electrical components are in good working order with the exception of some of the parking lights and the wiper motor.

  The undercarriage appears to be in excellent condition. including all of the wood that is visible. There is a small rust spot on the front bumper where a bit of chrome has chipped. The engine is original and matches the number on the manufacture plate. The engine fires up smoothly. is very quiet. has good oil pressure and does not smoke. The clutch. transmission. and brakes all appear to be in good working order. The car has been in storage for some time but runs and drives smoothly. The odometer reading is 14. 49 but we are somewhat unfamiliar with the complete history of the car. It has only recently been in our care. It has had some recent mechanical work to bring it out of its slumber. including a new battery. fresh fuel. and minor carburetor work. Some sorting out of minor issues may be necessary for longer drives.
