1973 Devon VW Camper in Brilliant Orange/White

Nice Solid bus with a recent paintjob. clean & tidy ready for someone to put their own stamp on it. It does have the water tank/pump etc still present but other than door cards its empty inside.

1600tp engine which runs nice. new carb and bits n bobs.   Drives. Steers & Stops just fine and will only need a few small jobs for its MOT. poptop works ok and is in useable condition. once the wheels are painted it will look really nice again.

Ideal starter bus that runs/drives and doesnt need any welding. just throw in a couple of seats and a bed and you'll be camping in no time!

edit: to bring this up to mot spec it will probably just need a good check over and sort a few lights out that arnt working. maybe check/adjust brakes etc obviously front seats also. it has seatbelts already. the screen might need replacing depending how fussy your mot man is. it has a smalll crack on the edge and a stone chip infront of the passenger altho i dont know what the mot regs are to be honest.

non mot type things it needs are obviously an interior. the drivers window drops but winds up perfectly. the poptop could do with a clean up and top painting. not a lot to do really just a few small jobs that can be done in time. id say if someone that knows what they are doing would have it on the road in not much more than a weekend.   I personally just dont get the time id like to spend on it to get it ready for the summer.

This bus will be tax exempt as of 2014 as the govement have announced that all vehicles registered before 1974 will be exempt from tax from 2014. do a google search for all the info. so theres an added bonus!

edit: i thought i would add that whilst i cant transport the bus personally i do know a guy locally who can should someone need to arrange a trailer or transport of some sort. obviously this will be at an extra cost to be arranged between yourselves. thinking that being able to offer this as an option might help.
