My wonderful Lagonda V12 with an outstanding presence is for sale.
Chassis: 14033 and engine number: V12-92 is an original matching numbers car that is in perfect running order and is driven weekly. It has a fully restored interior and bills totalling over fifty four thousand pounds from Lagonda specialists Bishop Grey. The chassis . suspension. brakes and steering car are in perfect working order .
A beautifully rare alloy bodied short chassis Lagonda V 12 which was one of two manufactured by Freestone and Webb. The other is now in an important European collection.
The exterior has such a charm as it is. I have refrained from painting or plating as the patina is simply wonderful.
There were very few Short Chassis cars produced and a handful only of these were given over to selected external coachbuilders. Ordered in 1938 the car was delivered to Eric Mackintosh the then major confectioner in the United Kingdom in March 1939.
These magnificent sport saloons are W. O Bentleys finest ever creations .
They were always rare and today are almost impossible to find. due in part to the short wheel based F1A sanctioned Le Mans specials being produced.
V 12 Dropheads are now upwards of £400k for sorted cars and there are several Le Mans recreations with larger than standard engines that wont be edible for FIA sanctioned events shortly unless the original cubic capacity is being adhered to and this means these cars will need major modifications to make the engines compliable . this is on top of the £250k spent at least in making these specials to begin with.
Road taxed and tested with all original documents and you can drive anywhere with confidence.
Transportation worldwide at cost price can be arranged.
