1967 M151A1 made by Ford. It runs very well. No sign that it was ever cut or rusted out. I drive it once every week or two in the spring through fall. and engine is run monthly in the winter. I drove a M151A1 in the Army periodically. and I take pride in keeping it as close to original as possible. and preserving it. I drive it about 50 miles a year. 4WD used once a couple years ago. Not a perfect vehicle. but better than most you see. It's not over restored. pimped out. rusted out or a redneck modification. Others might say their vehicle is in great shape. but a close look at the pictures says otherwise. Look for detailed pictures of any vehicle. If you are going to spend $10. 00 on a vehicle. you should know what you are getting. It will be 50 years old in August. so I won't guarantee anything. but I will tell you what's working and what's not. to the best of my knowledge.

Pictures with bows and vinyl top on are a couple years old. The bows and vinyl top are off now. but included. I didn't drive it in the snow. except for my website pictures. and never if it was raining or if the roads were wet. This jeep has never gotten wet in the years I've owned it. and it's always been garaged since I've had it. The odometer reads 19. 24 and it works. and I believe it to be correct.

See more pictures and information on my M151A1 jeep website. https://sites. google. com/site/scr625/Home/m151a1-jeep  If this link doesn't work. search on Google for M151A1 jeep. and my website is the google sites website. part of my scr625 website. Search on Youtube for my M151A1 jeep videos of cold starting the jeep after not being run for a week. and driving down the road. It runs on all four cylinders. and does not sputter or hesitate.

Very close to original condition. with some NOS or quality reproduction parts – vinyl top. canvas seats. military type tires. data plates. etc. Not riddled with holes from rust or modifications as many jeeps are.  It has the correct items for a M151A1: two-piece windshield with vacuum wipers. steering wheel. trailer hitch with safety chain bracket. tail lights. mirror and stenciling. New tires. spark plugs and batteries within the last few years. with original spare tire from 8-67. Floor looks very good. with minor dings. Bottom of gas can is stamped: “USMC 20-5-68”. The original alternator was replaced by the previous owner with one with an internal voltage regulator. It has a NATO jumper cable connector.

Working: headlights. blackout drive. blackout markers. brake lights. turn signals. horn. service brakes. parking brake; Working gauges: speedometer. odometer. battery. oil pressure. Tested 6/15/2017

Partially working: fuel gauge. temperature gauge. vacuum wipers. Some used and spare parts included.

The grill is straight. but there is a gouge in the radiator. but no leaks. Minor dings and scrapes. small tear on the upper side of driver's seat. The fire extinguisher bracket is incomplete and has been removed. but included. The rear differential leaks several ounces per week. more or less. even after the seals and sleeves were changed. The transmission leaks about one teaspoon of fluid per month. and no more than a couple drops per month of all other fluids combined. It will be 50 years old this year. and most vehicles this age leak somewhere. but few sellers will disclose leaks. As one veteran once told me. “If it doesn't leak. it must be empty”. The original data plate says made by Ford in 8-1967 with designated serial number. but the title says the make is “Jeep” and “1966”. with the correct serial number. I and the previous owner were unable to get the title corrected. so legally it is a 1966 Jeep. since the government is never wrong. I installed a reproduction data plate on it with just the serial number stamped on. but no manufacturer or year listed – nothing falsified. I have the original data plate. Titled and licensed now. I can write up a detailed bill of sale. if you want to try re-titling it. However. it may be of benefit sometime in the future. that there is nothing on the title to identify it as an ex-military vehicle. because some states are already restricting the use of bigger ex-military vehicles. Though I love having this vehicle. I am not a mechanic. I don't like giving up my garage space in Minnesota in the winter. or paying to store it.

$500 Paypal down payment required within 48 hours. the balance payable by check within seven days. Pickup ONLY after the check has cleared.

Some miscellaneous parts included.
