1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

I am parting with the coolest vehicle I have ever owned. I have spent over a year restoring my westy to be a capable camping machine. Over $10. 00 in upgrades alone on this beauty. This is a 1985 Volkswagen vanagon camper with the original 1. 9l water cooled motor. The motor was recently rebuilt about 20k miles ago. I have all of the paperwork from my mechanics from what I had done. The mechanics I had do the work specialize on vans and bugs. It runs great and shifts through gears perfectly. The odometer stopped rotating last year at 146k miles and I have been roughly 8k miles since purchased in August of 2016. I have had no major issues with this van what so ever. The van has the original ivory colored paint. The canvas is in great shape and no problems with the pop top. The interior cabinetry is in very good shape as well as the seats and cushions. There are a few small tears in the rear bed over the engine. The van needs a new propane tank as well. There are three areas of rust that you can see in the photos. The rust has caused no issues for me other than cosmetic. I have recently replaced the front cab carpet with the black sewfine carpet and gowesty rubber mats. I removed the original flooring and replaced it with something a little more appealing. The van is insulated with relectix insulation. It is also equipped with all new window seals. I also have the original fridge that came with the van stock in 85' that still works well and the overhead a/c unit that blows really cold. I took both of these options out to be able to have more storage. They are also included in the sale. My reason for selling my beloved van is I am starting my own business and need something I can carry equipment with. I hate to see this awesome vehicle go. HAPPY BIDDING!
