Offered for your bidding is my 1976 MGB roadster. It has a recent complete engine overhaul consisting of new pistons. rings. small end bushes. new crankshaft and rod bearings. new camshaft bearings. new timing chain and tensioner. It also has a new alternator and starter and recent new clutch and pressure plate. Performance modifications include: Kent cam. alloy cylinder head. headers. Weber DGV carburetor. Monza exhaust system. nylon cooling fan and new SU fuel pump. Ignition is by Pertronics electronic system. Wheels have been replaced by Microlite alloy units. All in all. a well working power package. Engine and driveline rates a 10. The car is quite quick for a MGB.

Interior rates about an 8 though the speedometer needs a new angle drive and possibly a lower cable. All other instruments work correctly and the flasher and headlight switches have been replaced with new units. Exterior needs some rust attended to in the usual MG places and a new hood. (bonnet). which comes with the car. It also needs the plastic windows in the convertible top replaced or a new top. Windshield is fogged around edges but is useable. Comes with a tonneau cover and cockpit cover. The car mostly needs paint to complete the restoration. Winner of the auction must arrange for transport and send a $500. 00 non-refundable deposit within one week of purchase. balance to be paid by bank check or money order at time of pick up.

I have owned this car for the past 13 years and found it to be a reliable and fun ride. I simply have too many other restoration projects underway to spend the time to complete this one. If there are any questions please contact the seller.
