1978 Jeep Wagoneer

 This Jeep Wagoneer has original numbers matching engine and drive train (JM TH400 and Borg Warner 1339 Quadratrac with low range option) completely rebuilt March 2017 and detailed. a  straight rust free body with a fine finish and polished stainless trim and a  clean new custom interior.

Second owner along with original dealer papers. owners manuals. and thorough documented proof with all receipts for the components of the frame off restoration. Mileage before restoration 96772 and the vehicle was clean and accident free.

The Dark Green metallic finish has a deep shine and the bright work. stainless trim fastened with all new clips. the polished aluminum wheels and all the chrome blazes in the sun. Myself and many others like the narrow wood sides bordered with polished stainless than the later full wood decal with vinyl molding that warps.

Hi Performance AMC 360 Engine. All 8 fire instantly on ignition. Standard bore. balanced rotating internals Edelbrock Air gap intake Holley 4V carburetor. nbsp;Edlebrock aluminum heads 9. 25 :1 compression and finned covers. New  Crane cam. roller rockers. New double row timing chain and timing cover. New Milodon water pump. belts and chromed alternator.

New CVR chromed high torque starter. Interstate battery and cables with mil spec terminals. No worries with the wiring harness as well.

The engine intake manifold is an Edelbrock Air gap unit with a new Holley pump and 4V w electric choke Street Avenger. Air cleaner equipped with  K&N filter and Holley Electric fuel pump. and Earl's fuel filters on each side of the fuel pressure regulator. Fuel tank has been vetted with a new fuel sock.

MSD billet HEI distributor with HEAT module. all new crown distributor drive gear set and 8mm ignition wires along with a fresh set of AC plugs last inspection indicates excellent balanced compression . the plugs are the correct heat range . 60 gap burn nice  golden. color

Ceramic coated headers flow into a custom dual  stainless 3" exhaust system with an 2. 5 inch H  pipe. nbsp;polished stainless steel mufflers. with exhaust exiting down and to the sides in front of rear wheels ends with dual splitters.

Original Jeep with JM code TH400 transmission with  deep aluminum transmission pan and cooler. along with a replaceable Royal Purple  screw off/on transmission fluid filter remotely mounted under the radiator support with stainless braided lines. New Hugh's Performance torque converter. pump and stage 1 (auto stick)valve body  Kolene steels and Red Eagle clutches.

Derale fluid temperature guage.

BW 1339 transfer case and Dana 44 axles has been meticulously rebuilt with all new bushings bearings  seals and it has 1130 miles since the rebuild. transfer case also has the high/ low range option and functions perfectly. The low range will pull anything you have anywhere. The BW 1339 transfer case with low range option and Warn hubs were dismantled. leaned inspected and overhauled. The transfer case sports a new chain. lutch pack. eedle bearings. eals. polyurethane mounts and grade 8 bolts. It is filled with the proper TCL-1 limited slip fluid. he warn hubs were overhauled and repacked with bearing grease. The balanced driveshaft and front axle have been fitted with all new Spicer U joints. Also new rear wheel bearings and seals were installed with the brakes.

4 core radiator and new AC condenser.

 AC system. is an original R12 system all rebuilt. with all new components down to the last O ring.

New condenser. ew hoses and pressure fittings. new York compressor. lutch. pulleys and belts. New receiver drier. new evaporator hoses and fittings. he blower motor. ousing. fan control and thermostat have all been replaced. All the ducts and vents are all clean with fresh gaskets. The  system has been charged with Dupont Igloo and the proper volume of mineral oil. Also has the wing windows if you like fresh air on your face.

All new Sun Super Tach and 5 analog guages mounted into a rally type cluster made from solid teak wood. It is mounted on the transmission tunnel. The original gauges remain in the original dash and are functional. The original AM/FM radio is still in the dash and fully functional. An additional Sony head is installed with Polk Audio speakers.

This vehicle is equipped with a Class 1 towing hitch with stainless steel receiver and 2" ball.

Fully rebuilt GM tilt column with new ignition switch and keys. New steering linkage. damper and  rag joints.

New tight performance ratio. AGR racing steering box and new power steering pump.

Suspension upgraded. all new polyurethane mounts and bushings. All new super duty front and rear leaf springs mounted with new grade 8 U bolts. and rear coil overs. The stance is perfect lift is biased at the rear 2. 5 inches. It rides and handles like a dream.

New brake booster. cylinders. calipers rotors/pads/brake lines and fluid.
Original Jeep forged  aluminum slotted wheels. riginal Jeep OEM hub covers with matching stainless lug nuts. New Mickey T's.

Power tailgate window works up/down perfectly from the dash or the rear key switch.  

Tailgate and  4 doors latch in place perfectly. The manual window regulators crank up and down all the way and high end weatherstripping is all new.

Scat bucket seats are new. Rear seat was removed and a hinged. added and carpeted tool box straddles the rear wheel arches for jack. tools. axe. rifle etc.  

Carpet and sound deadening temperature insulation was replaced. and looks clean and plush. Floor mats are Jeep.

It is kept in a garage and turns  heads wherever she goes. Greg Noll surfboard not included.
