1972 Dodge Dart

1972 dodge demon original FY1 top banana yellow  340 H code 4 speed car. Has numbers matching 4 speed. original number drive shaft. correct date 83/4 rear but gears are not. Was original 3:55 now has 742 case 3. 91 Richmond gear with strange spool and moser axle bearings. original bellhousing. flywheel. and shifter mechanism. Flywheel resurfaced. McLeod clutch kit. original E-body pistol grip shifter. 340 motor is not matching but has been completely rebuilt with 030 over forged 10. 1 pistons. comp 280/480 k kit 1970 J heads LD 340 intake. pro form 750 holley. mopar performance distributor kit. HV oil pump and fuel pump. engine wiring harness. interior is original. front seat was recovered and new carpet back seat is original. dash pad is perfect. Everything works but the speedometer. odometer works though. Has new gas tank. sending unit. and all new brakes and lines and fuel lines all stainless. new E brake cables. new aluminum radiator etc. too much to list.  Demon has no fendertag but have perfect build sheet. ll other numbers match. hood scoop was supposedly added at dealer but I can't verify that. Has 3000 miles now on it since all was rebuilt. car is tagged and insured and is drove. Has new AMD trunk pan. Only rust I see is in lower quarters. floors and rails and everything else looks great. basically we got all the drivetrain done and was gonna do body later but things have changed so here we are. Fender tag would be easy to get with build sheet I have already called about it just haven't done it yet. Windshield is cracked but not in drivers view. Car shows 109. 00 miles but have no way of knowing if that's correct but as nice as the car is I wouldn't be surprised. Original AM radio works great. glove box light works. map light will work if you wiggle the toggle switch. trunk light works. all lights and turn signal work too as well as license plate light. Has factory power steering and manual drum brakes on all 4 corners. new hooker headers. summit 2 1/2 exhaust kit with original tips. I do have the original part number Radiator. distributor. lternator. jack and spare that goes with car and owners manual. Has small bolt polished centerlines and like new tires. Hood scoop is a factory one not repop.   I'm sure I have forgot something so call if you want more details. Car is for sale locally and reserve the right to end auction. i guess some are confused and maybe i didn't explain it right. but the Demon has good clean title. the only thing i do not have is the fender tag. one can be acquired with the build sheet that is included and there may be another build sheet somewhere else in car as i haven't looked that hard.

The VIN matches the core support. under package tray by speaker hole. build sheet and transmission. and door sticker.
