New Mexico car and still registered there. This car has the original paint and is 100% stock. Being in a dry area its whole life there is very little rust with just very minor surface rust in some spots. It has never been in an accident and has a few minor dings. It does run but it will oil smoke after running a few minutes. I believe it needs a new head gasket. It was on the road up until 4 years ago.

 

Recent service:

- replaced battery

- rebuilt the carburetor

- replaced some fuel lines

- replaced fuel pump

- new fuel filter

- new spark plugs

- new spark plug wires

- new cap and rotor

- adjusted valves

 

When I got the car I had plans on restoring it from the ground up. this is the perfect starting point. I did get the car running after I rebuilt the carb and replaced a few things. but it was running rough.

 The car is 98% complete and factory. straight body for a car this old(a couple dents and dings) interior is all there. just dirty and front seats could use some covers and the carpet could be replaced.
