I am pleased to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Coupe with a 350 c. i. V8. Let's start off with the numbers. 1 and 2 translate to Chevrolet Camaro 4 is for V8 engine 37 for Coupe body 7 for year and N for Norwood assembly plant. Moving on to the data plate we have 128 followed below with 67-12437 Nor 49644. This translate to 67- year 12437 –body style. The next line is the trim code 760-Z followed by N N. 760Z translates to standard interior in black. This Camaro now has a deluxe interior in black. N N is for Madeira Maroon top and bottom which is correct. The bottom line is 2-G which I think relates to the center console. From here on I have no evidence that this is either a true RS or SS car. nor can I confirm that it was born with a 350 engine. The previous owner who bought it from the builder passed on this information to me. He stated that over $22000 was spent on parts. He provided pictures of the bare block as it was at the engine builders. It has a casting number 3892657 which does translate to a 1967 350c. i. V8. The engine number is V051 6 AT – V is for Flint MI and I presume AT for automatic. This Camaro has a power glide transmission. Other features include a 12 bolt rear end. disc brakes up front. AM/FM factory stereo radio and 66. 00 actual miles. I will provide invoices totaling $15. 78. 38 for parts. One of the invoices included some labor as well as parts. I will also provide pictures of the bare block. pictures of the car before a rotisserie restoration and many manuals for equipment that was put on the car. As you will see in the pictures the folder is almost two inches thick. Now about the car itself. The body and paint is show quality. It appears that most of the bright work has been rechromed or polished. In fact the only pieces that are original chrome are the vent window frames and they are beautiful. All of the glass is excellent. Inside is restored to perfection. Most everything seems new but with I think original seat belts and gauges. I am having trouble with the right door outside handle bit it does open correctly from the inside so this will need to be tended to. Under the hood is all great stuff and appears mostly new. The parts invoices I have cover from 2009 to 2010. The trunk is beautiful and complete except for a tire. The undercarriage is what you would expect for a restored car. This Camaro drives great although the steering is a quick ratio Z-28 style that is hard to turn at low speeds. I have only driven this Camaro a limited distance and it appears to be fairly lowed geared. This is a truly beautiful car that is very well done as obviously no dollars spared to bring it to what it is now. As always if you have any questions concerning this Camaro simply call or email.
