This is an Original 1940 Ford Deluxe 4 Door Sedan. It has never been chopped or molested in any way. This car has 86. 37 original miles on it. The car has a flathead V8 engine in it. I was told it was the original one. but I don't know for sure. The car has been in storage since 1955. It has a few scratches and some dings and 2 small dents on the passenger's side. 1 on the front fender and 1 on the rear fender. It doesn't have any rust on the body or the undercarriage at all. although the paint is starting to bubble over the rear fenders at the seam. This car also has a pebble ding in the driver's side windshield and a cracked front passenger's window. but there is a good window in the trunk so it can be replaced. It also needs to have the 4 doors and trunk rubber seals replaced. It seems they have melted over the years in storage.  It comes with 2 NOS exhaust pipes. but I do not have a muffler. The car does need a muffler. The bottom rotted out of the existing one from sitting for so long.   The car also has a pair of winter tire chains that were original to the car still in their bag. nbsp;and a few extra parts in the trunk. Also included in the trunk are the jack and its handle. the motor crank extension and its handle and the lug wrench. This car was put in storage 5 years before I was born. so I can only tell you what I was told by my Dad. or what I can see for myself. The car was put up on blocks in 1955 and the air let out of the tires. and he also put oil in the cylinders (the engine is free but it has not been started).  The chrome was all covered with wax when it was put in storage.  The car has not seen the light of day from 1955. until now.  This would make a very fast and easy restoration project. An excellent Father and Son winter project.  You would need very. very few parts to restore this car. This car does NOT need an off-frame restoration unless that is what YOU wanted to do.   TO VIEW ALL PICTURES OF THIS CAR CLICK ONTO THIS  SITE   http://s1057. photobucket. com/user/2011pappy/slideshow/1940%20Ford%20Deluxe    EMAILS  WITH  LOWBALL  OFFERS  WILL  BE  IGNORED ***
