1973 Dodge Challenger for sale
Current customer rating: (182 votes ) based onOK. I have been getting questions about why my car is re-listed and here is the fact. I originally listed the car without a reserve thinking that the car would sell for market value. well it didn't. So i contacted the winner bidder and apologized for his refund and explained that the car is worth a hell of allot more then the winning bid! There is over 600 man hours alone in this car.
It is a "fresh restoration" with a brand new motor just broken in. so please only serious buyers and reasonable offers. If the car doesn't sell on eBay it will be sold at the next turkey rod run at the Dayton speed track where i know i can get top dollar from someone that really knows the value of this car.
Up for bid is my beautiful completely restored 1973 Dodge Challenger 340 Six-Pak HP all date coded and color matched to factory Lemon Twist Yellow. I am the 4th owner of this car and the gentlemen that I purchased this beauty from started a rotisserie restoration (have photos and docs) and he ran out of money for the project and thats were i stepped in to finish the build. This SOB pushes out 500+ Horse Power on a 340 High Performance motor that was dipped. blue printed. rebuilt with all high performance parts (CAMS. Bearings. Pistons. etc. )! This is a fun Slap Stick Auto Getting those tires spinning is completely freshly rebuilt date code correct 340 HP with original 1969 Chrysler 6 pack. 3 duces! Finding a 6 pack set up with manifold. matching carbs. linkages. breather intake from 1969. all factory correct. is nearly impossible! The car was originally a 318 but was upgraded to the current set up. The motor runs very well with no smoking or leaks. It has a lot of power and delivers a great sound through the dual exhaust set up. Just the sound of this Beast at idle gives me butterflies (will send Videos upon request). This Challenger set up is easily one of the most sought after muscle cars on the market today. These Cars sell for well over $85K on the Barrett Jackson Actions and are by far rated the best looking MOPAR of all time! The motor has that factory appearance with everything being nicely painted with a nice finish. The interior of the car has that factory look as well being done in all Sail Cloth White with the original style woodgrain accents. It has the original center console with the Slap Stick pistol grip shifter. When you sit behind the wheel of this thing there is no doubting you are in a Classic American Icon Muscle car. All of the original gauges. knobs and switches are working properly and look great. The trunk of the car is finished out just as nicely and houses the original jack and spare tire. Have all receipts and documents from the build that goes with the car. The paint is brand new with only a couple small touch up spots in places hard to notice. nicks from assembly. This car is going to the highest bidder and I am selling it for sure.
NOTE: I reserve the right to sell this car locally and remove from action.
Shipping notes: I will assit in loading the car for pick up and buyer is responsible for arranging shipping.
