1969 Chevrolet Camaro

This is a COPO clone (or as they call them now a tribute car) it was built back in the early 80's . ve known about this car for about the last 25 years . nbsp;I know it's a cliché' but this is a true barn find . t has been stored in a hay barn in northern alabama . he guy was a friend of mine and needed money for another purchase and decided to sell it . t has a correctly dated #512 427 that matches the build date on the car . t has a 4:11 12 bolt positraction rear end . t has a original M22 muncie 4 speed transmission (rock crusher) . urst round  andle shifter . 621 bellhousing . manual Disc brakes on the front . till has the original hard to find dripper valve covers . his car is not perfect but has a very solid original body on it . his car has no structural rust and never has had any. hen I got the car I did what it needed to run . rive and stop . wet sanded the car with 320 grit to get the grime off of it . pressure cleaned the the rat nasty's and and mud do bbers off the engine . hanged the oil and put a tune up on it . nbsp;I put a single wire delco alternator on it . did not cut any wires or remove the voltage reg. . have the dated 1969 alt. that was on it . t will go with the car . had to put a new set of headers on it . riginals had some pin holes in them . don't know the milage on the engine but it runs good carrys good oil pressure doesent smoke or have any knocks . he radiator that is in it is a stock . t maybe fine for northern alabama but will not work in south florida in the summer . t would have had a heavy duty installed originaly with a BB . t has a dent in the rear lower valance where somone had backed into something . he interior is in fair condition (see pictures) . the car is very solid for the fact that is was stored in a dry enviorment for so long . engine and heads are dated mid december 68 . ar was an original butternut w/black interior . ll the glass is good and works fine (tinted windsheild). he only rust ive found on the car is (2) small places on the LH 1/4 panel and a small place with some pin holes in the trunk where a critter had made a nest (see pictures) he began some of the work on the car before the recession . t hasent been touched since then . hese are the things I feel the car should have (and I will probally change if I start driving the car) . n hei dist (still has the 69 point dist) heavy duty radiator (aluminum repop to spec's on ebay $300) I have a video of driving the car on my phone if you text me ill forward it to you . also have a few more pictures . nd can text them to you also   these are the parts that had to be changed   new tires                       master cylinder               fuel pump                        alternator                       battery                          tune up                          oil change                        headers                          hoses
