Great Military Duce-and-a-Half Troop Carrier Multi Fuel

This is a Multi Fuel Vehicle and can run on almost anything! Dash says approved for Gas or Diesel or any combination of the two. I have always ran Diesel only.

Runs like a NEW one. I currently have many military trucks/vehicles and this is my favorite to drive. It sounds like a truck should. I have driven this truck personally over 300 miles this year. No complicated electronics to leave you stranded.  
Truck was overhauled by the US Army at Letterkenny Army Depot in 1990. This included Engine overhaul. CARC paint job. and much more.
New deep cycle batteries (5/17). no slow draw. holds charge. ready to start every time.
Manual 5 Speed Transmission. no issues. smooth/good clutch
All Lights work properly. one of the front headlights has a ring of silicone helping to secure it in place. additional headlights/rings provided with sale.
Very Minimal Rust. I have several Duce's and they all show rust in same places. This truck is one of the best I've seen. only place worth mentioning is behind passenger door. you can see a plate was added in 1990 and the same area has rusted out again. this is common with these trucks. Tires are in good shape with good tread on them. all 10. good spare. no need to replace at this time. Correct era jack and truck manual included!
No top provided. I keep truck parked inside. Soft top can be purchased new for approximately $350. I also have hard top on another Duce if desired for additional cost.
Troop seats fold down in rear. recently lightly sanded and repainted. great shape for their age. I have warehouse full of rear canvas if desired for additional cost.
I purchased this truck from a municipality and they provided a title that shows the year to be 1990. However. since M35A2's were not produced in 1990 this is not correct. The engine and other items on the truck indicate this to be a 1980 production. so that's how I am listing it for sale. The municipality assumed the dates listed on the truck of 1990 (overhauled date) to be the production year. Title will be provided with sale and will indicate 1990.
