One of the lowest production vehicles having only 6. 44 built & with only 10% of all Woodies surviving. try to find one of these Hand-Built beauties today especially in this wonderful #2- Condition. Purchased in the late `70's by the present owner's father. this beautiful. newly styled Ford DeLuxe went through a complete restoration over the next few years highlighted by:

-A Show Quality respray by Moyer. span > Dublin. PA

-New Interior by Wismer. Telford. PA

-Engine rebuild by ABC Auto. Souderton. PA

-Wood sides refurbished with some new sections fitted only where necessary by Rush Custom Woodworking. Colmar. PA.  All Original Wood that was removed has been saved and is invaluable as templates for restorations. Invoices are with the 52 addtl. pics on Website link.

The factory optional (`39) - Hydraulic Brakes were added by a previous owner (possibly a dealer upgrade) and an Electric Fuel Pump was installed a few years ago. keeping the original on the engine for period correctness.

~ CONDITION ~

 Exterior: High gloss respray over straight. solid panels. Show quality paint has no degrading flaws. showing only very small edge chips and minor swirl marks upon close inspection. Beautiful & correctly toned Maple w/ good fit & finish overall. Discoloration on lower left tailgate & the right front door at hinges has finish loss and small amount of filler at joints. All brightwork is shiny with the Hood ornament having some minor pitting. All glass and lenses are Very Good/Show and rubberized Vinyl top is Very Good. Nice Spider Wheels & V8 Hubcaps shod with WWW's with excellent tread.

Interior:Naugahyde is in Show Condition showing no wear. Weather stripping all good. Interior wood is beautiful. floors solid. Gauges in Show condition and working – even the Clock! Original "Banjo" Steering Wheel in Very Good Condition.

Engine/Driveline:Show detailed engine bay with correct components. Engine is believed to be the original 24 Stud. 221ci. 85hp with Aluminum Heads. NEW Battery.

Undercarriage: Show detailed with no detectable signs of road use.  Car was restored throughout top to bottom in the most professional manner as evidenced by the detailed undercarriage photographs on the link & its present amazing condition almost 30 years later. A testament to a 1st Rate Restoration.

Road Test/Mechanically: Car starts and rides beautifully. No history of over-heating or any issues & has been driven lovingly & minimally since the early `80's.

Extremely rare and one of. if not the most sought after Woodies; a vehicle that is a must for any collection.   A solid Show Winner with an excellent restoration. always garaged. covered and properly maintained.
