Sadly. For Sale. My little friend Joey!
He's a 1972 MG BGT. with the Classic Chrome Bumpers and Period Colour of Old English White.
He was first registered on 1st August 1972. and we have the Original Bill of Sale from Hammonds of Daybrook. for the total sum of £1633. 52
He is faultless to drive. the car benefits from an overdrive gearbox which works perfectly in both 3rd and 4th gears.
He doesn't smoke or drip oil. has execellent oil pressure and happily keeps up with modern day traffic at all speed limits.
Some recent improvements that have been made are :
New Distributor. Electronic Ignition. Coil. Leads and Spark Plugs'Minilite' Wheels (15") with new Pirelli Tyres all aroundNew Battery. (1 x 12V as opposed to 2 x 6V)Unleaded Cylinder HeadH4 Halogen Headlight ConversionAdjustable GAZ Shock Absorbers. Front and RearNew Front Wishbones etcNew Front Discs. Calipers. Pads. Braided Hoses and New Brake Master Cylinder. all with Brake Fluid Changed less than 200 miles ago(Service Kit included for Rear Drum Brakes)Any Misc Parts that I may have are also included. nbsp;He has had all the usual problem areas replaced including Inner and Outer Wings. Sills. Castle Sections etc. and he requires no work. just polish him and enjoy him.
The interior is in good condition too. I think the seats have been recovered. they are very comfy and the Blue/Black Combination compliments his looks.
The MOT expired this week. I'm taking him down tomorrow. so he will have a full 12 months. and of course the Road Fund tax is absolutely free. so will also be a full 12 months.
