It was a promotional car for the New York Yankees and Ford Mustang introducing it's new throw back shape which is still very similar to newer Mustang models. There was only one Yankee Mustang given to each Tri -State dealer. Most of them were sold before they arrived at the dealership with a price of $32. 00 plus an extra $5. 00 tacked on for this exclusive model totaling $37. 00 .  
This model was purchased at Toms River Ford in Toms River New Jersey and was given its own special welcoming day with hundreds of Yankee fans attending. Yankee great Al Leiter was there and promoted the car as the best Mustang ever built. He also signed the dashboard with a nice bold Sharpie Signature which is still present and not faded. This car has been garage kept and pampered since new with only 27. 00 miles. It is fully equipped with all the bells and whistles including extras like custom safety roll bar ($1200) as seen in the picture with the top down.  Also custom Mustang factory wheels with spinners. Yankee mats. Tote bag . tc. There are no dents. bangs or blemishes. The interior is beautiful supple black leather that smells new. The car fax is as clean as the car. The power top is beautiful and operates as new. The 6 cylinder engine with (Automatic transmission) is perfect and runs and shifts strong with the pep of an 8 cylinder. The car drives like a new car and is sitting on a  brand new set of Continental tires . Car has been dealer maintained with religious oil changes and all new brakes.
