I had been driving this 60 series daily with plans to completely restore and use as a trail. camping rig.  However. I was recently offered a chance to buy an fj75. so begrudgingly I am putting this for sale to fund that. I have performed quiet a few upgrades. all tasteful and professionally installed.
The complete Old Man Emu Suspension rides excellently both on and off-road.  I splurged on the entire kit including 3" Lift Front and Rear Heavy Leafsprings. OME NitroCharger Shocks plus all new ARB bushings. greaseable shackles and steering stabilizer to boot. A complete rebuild of all the front end steering was also installed including all tie rods. drag links. etc.
A set of 15x8 steel wheels and 33x10. 50r15 BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires (plus matching spare) ride amazing and are absolutely wonderful in the winter.
The rear has been outfitted with a 4x4Labs rear bumper with dual swing outs(retail - $2300). An ARB Front bumper was on order but plans have changed.
Inside the truck. an Alpine headunit with bluetooth connectivity and USB has replaced the original stereo deck. All gauges. lights. power windows. heater and controls work including the power locks. The AC blows very cold. The floor has been covered with Cruiser Corps Rubber Floor Mats.  The driver seat shows wear.
I have driven it every day for the past year or so. on and offload. It drives very well and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country. The engine runs well. warms up to temp and maintains at running temp.  Under the hood. the 3F engine is stock and clean with fresh spark plugs. wires. Starting in 1988. the FJ62s are equipped with Electronic Fuel Injection.  All fluids have been flushed including Oil. ATF. Front and Rear Differentials and Transfer case.

Outside. the truck shows very well. but with it's age it has received it's fair share of dents as can be seen in the photos. This is not a garage queen. It has rust on the driver side rear quarter panel. a common issue on 60 series. There is no rust anywhere else on the truck. The paint is glossy. but some spots are starting to fade. It also leaks a drop or two of oil when you park from the rear main seal.  In addition. occasionally if you are heavy on the throttle and completely lift up it will shift hard.  Possible U-joint going out. etc.  It hasn't bothered me.

The extras alone cost over $6000 after install.
