Jensen Motors made the car's body while Austin-Healey made the cars in Abingdon. England. Only 6. 13 examples of the BJ7 models were made. Other changes included a vertical barred front grille. wind-up windows instead of side curtains. an improved hood. and a wrap-around windscreen. Optional extras were similar to the Mark I. although the factory hardtop option was dropped with the BJ7's introduction. From August 1961. a brake servo was also available as an optional extra. which greatly improved braking performance. The BJ7 was discontinued in October 1963 with the introduction of the 3000 Mark III.

Dressed in it's correct Colorado Red exterior. the paint and trim are in overall very good order but please note a 3" chip on the paint on the right front hood near the headlight. This roadster's body panels are solid and straight. including the folding top. which is in very good order and has a plastic rear window. The bumpers are in very good order. while the boot. under-bonnet area and battery are all in good shape.

The three-spoke steering wheel. door panels. mirror glass and center console are all in fine shape. The gear shifter is in very good order. This is a radio delete model.

About Motoexotica History

MotoExotica. com is a licensed bonded dealer through the state of Missouri. We have been in business since 1988 selling high end. special interest. pre-owned and exotic vehicles.

With the advent of the Internet and EBay Motors. we have found an avenue that allows us to sell cars we normally purchased for ourselves. We have owned just about every exotic and luxury car known to man; such as ISO Grifo to Jaguar XKE. Lamborghini Countach and Rolls Royce.

In the past. these cars were sold primarily through Hemmings Motor News and through word of mouth. We would normally keep a car and enjoy it personally for 6 – 18 months. However. with listing cars on EBay Motors. our turnover has tremendously increased. Now. the average time we hold a car is 4 – 6 weeks!

With the increase in turnover has come the increased need of fine automobiles. We are constantly looking for exceptional cars and travel the country coast to coast in search of the rare and unusual. We find our cars through individuals like yourselves as well as classic car and dealers auctions. We do not purchase vehicles that we would not be proud to own ourselves.

For a quote on shipping anywhere in the world. please feel free to email us at sales@Motoexotica. com or call 636-600-4600. We will give you an estimated cost for open and enclosed transport or overseas. We are happy to accommodate our international buyers! Over the last several decades we have exported thousands of cars to Norway. Germany. Estonia. Puerto Rico. Hawaii. Alaska. Costa Rica. Brazil. British Columbia.
