2001 Ford Mustang

Up for sale is a very nice 2001 Saleen SC - 281 Convertible! This one is #899 for the year 2001 - one of the last ones made. This car is not in "perfect" condition. but it has survived very well as the paint is original and there is no major damage anywhere on the car! Please reach me at 7012401641 [David] to talk more about the car or about shipping/pickup.  The car runs and drives as it should. and it sounds like a beast! The convertible top also operates flawlessly. The only operational note I have is that the clutch cable is stretched a bit. so you have to push the pedal in quite far for the clutch to engage completely. From what I've read. this is quite common in this era. The clutch cable setup is very accessible. so it isn't a major job to replace the cable.  
Other notes on the car:
- Manual 5 Speed Transmission- 4. 6L Aluminum Supercharged engine- New tires put on less than a year ago [they hardly have any miles on them]- Bumper has some rock chips in the paint that were touched up years ago before we got the car. Bumper also has some spiderwebs in the paint in a few spots from the material flexing from bottoming out a couple times [I believe the bumper is something like a foam composite material - not plastic. The front of the hood has a couple chips as well. See pictures. - There is a film starting to lift and peel off the headlight lenses in a couple spots. Barely noticeable until you are up close - see pictures- Interior is in very good condition. Some minor wear on the leather/vinyl on the drivers' seat. One small hole on the drivers seat bottom but no major tears.  - Windshield has a few small rock pits. but no cracks or spiderwebs starting. - The power windows and seats all function properly. - Power convertible top functions properly and fits nicely- Front emblem corral has some paint missing from bugs and rocks from normal use- Convertible roll bar vinyl has one small tear on either side that could be repaired easily. The tears are hard to see unless you are up closing and looking for them. See pictures.
This car is not in *perfect* condition - please see pictures for flaws. However. this car is a ton of fun. very quick. and in great condition minus a few superficial flaws. These Saleens are quite rare. and this one is the one you want to get - the supercharged convertible! This piece of American Muscle will only go up in value.
