Are you looking for a wonderful 40's era car with tons of nostalgia ?! Want to own a real eye catcher ?! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Yes this is one sharp '49 Packard  Standard 8 Touring Sedan and it only has 56. 83 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL  MILES according to the previous owner however we have no way of proving it.  The color combination on this car is STUNNING. This is a RARE Packard Standard 8 Touring Sedan which NEVER fails to turn heads and is RARE indeed as they only made 12. 32 of them in 1949 ! This car shows and runs EXTREMELY well. We purchased this rare '49 Packard from a collector in Montana who had owned the car for the last several years. He bought the car from the estate of the previous owner who lived in North Idaho and had owned the car for many years. I drove this car for several days as my daily driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove very well.  If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come see and drive this BEAUTY for yourself. you won't be disappointed !!

It still retains what appears to be its STRONG - ORIGINAL - 288 CID -  "Flathead Straight Eight" cylinder motor in it and running very well. The previous owner told me that the engine was professonally - completly rebuilt approx fourteen years ago but does not have many miles since as this car was only driven occassionally. I noticed under the hood on the firewall the correctly mounted - ORIGINAL - Cowl Mounted Packard Data Plate shown in a picture below. The engine is backed by a  SMOOTH - "3 ON THE TREE" - 3 Speed Manual Transmission which also functions well.  The ALL ORIGINAL ( Yes. that's not a misprint original interior !) Tan Camel Checkered Cloth and light Tan Wool Cloth Interior is in GREAT condition for being 63 years old including a good Original Tan Camel Checkered cloth front seat that has several small imperfections. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL Tan Camel checkered cloth rear seat  with factory rear seating area foot rests and dual side arm rests. nbsp;VERY NICE ORIGINAL wood veneer dash - VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's - NICE ORIGINAL Packard steering wheel - NICE ORIGINAL Rubber floor mat up front - good ORIGINAL brown carpeting - NICE ORIGINAL Wood Veneer on door panels. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL Light Tan Wool door panels and a GOOD Original wool headliner with some imperfections.  Up until about a year ago the seats had seat covers on them which is why the upholstery has survived so long. In my opinion this is about as NICE as an ORIGINAL interior as your going to find in a 63 year old Classic Car. UNBELEIVABLE !! Check out the front AND rear wing windows. TO COOL !! This Beauty is quite a deal and you will be happy with your purchase. This '49 has outstanding looks and smooth power as well ! The - Code "P" - Grenadier Maroon  finish on this car is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with a few small chips and imperfections but is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING !! This car is nicely equipped including a factory gauge package. nbsp;ORIGINAL Packard AM pushbutton radio which is no longer working. factory ORIGINAL upper windshield sun screens. optional factory fender skirts. working windshield wipers. nbsp;dual chrome exterior spotlights which are no longer working. nbsp;front and rear fold out window vents. ORIGINAL clock which is no longer working. ORIGINAL Day / Night rear view mirror and a ORIGINAL moveable exterior radio antenna. This vehicle is in WONDERFUL mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well.  

The vehicle is beautiful with respect to the overall cosmetic impression and check out the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless on this car which is not perfect but pretty good for being ORIGINAL !! This car has - GOOD wide white wall tires on ORIGINAL color Matched Steel Wheels with NICE ORIGINAL Packard chrome hubcaps. Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this BEAUTY and really retains that clean ORIGINAL look !! NICE Original Grill and VERY NICE ORIGINAL Grill Ornament.  Check out the factory original chrome hood ornament. NEAT !! The trunk is clean. ORIGINAL and solid including a good wide white wall Full Size Spare Tire.  I looked underneath and also included photos below.
