1969 Hurst/Olds for sale

1969 Hurst/Olds Hard Top - Bought from the original owner in Marshalltown. IA who purchased the car from Mid State Motors in Marshalltown. IA in June 1969. The car was sold to a second owner but bought back by the original owner in September 2004. The car has had a frame off restoration since. I am the third owner.

VIN 344879M371283 - verified and registered as Hurst #411 in the registry. Demmer Engineering #525. I have a picture of the original dash plaque. the owner kept. Have copy of original Hurst Performance Research Corporation's Dealer Order Sheet from when the car was ordered in 1969 with Bill Demmer's signature. Have copy of the original Delivery Receipts from Oldsmobile when the car was delivered to Hurst Performance. with Richard Chrysler's signature. who later owned Hurst Performance. Front & Rear suspensions were completely re-built with the Frame Off Restoration. NON-Numbers Matching Motor. but period Correct 455 with Correct "D" Heads. 455 Block Casting Number 396021F Matching Numbers Transmission Original 3:91 gears come with the car. Currently has 3:42 gears for better "drivability". all with the original POSI rear end. Electric "pusher" fan has been installed on the front of the original radiator. to assist with better cooling on warmer days. I have never used the electric fan since I have owned the car. All new interior with the restoration. New Good Year Tires. Reproduction Wheels from Specialty Wheels in Portland. Oregon. Have the original wheels which will come with the car. Car has RARE Factory Vacuum Trunk Release System Air Conditioning. Power Windows. Tilt Steering Column were all ADDED to this car during the Frame Off Restoration. Radio in Dash is period correct. lights up with the dash lights. but emulates no sound. Aftermarket Radio and 10 Disc Changer are installed in the trunk. with a main control unit inside the car under the dash with remote control. Cruise Control. Dakota Digital Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror with Compass and Outdoor Temperature. Vintage Correct 3rd Brake Light are also equipped on this car. Ceramic Coated Headers with aluminized 2. 5" exhaust and Flow Master Mufflers with electronic exhaust cut outs with the control inside the car are also equipped on this car. Rally Pac Gauges work with the exception of the TACH. reads about 1500 RPM high. and the Tic Toc Clock. Original Cowl Tag was lost during the Frame Off Restoration. but car is verified by Kurt Karach and documented as said. Car has won numerous awards as well as several "FIRSTS" in Class at various Car Shows. Car currently has 58. 72 original miles. Comes with CUSTOM MADE SHOW BOARD

September 27th - I added a bunch of pictures at the request of many. hopefully you see what you asked for.   The motor is period correct. with the exception of the Intake Manifold.   The Intake on this car is the "L" code. which is the 70-72 455 Intake. and it appears the casting number is 404521.   The original 69 H/O intakes are very rare. I which this car had one!  Also. I don't have the original steering wheel.   I asked for it when I bought the car. the owner didn't have it. said it was un-repairable due to the base being cracked.

The car is Hurst Performance Research Center (HPRC) #411. and is Demmer #525. which is what was/is on the original dash plate. which the original owner kept but I have a picture of it.   I have copies of the original Dealer Order Sheet. the Delivery Receipts from Olds to Hurst. and then a picture of the original Demmer Dash Plate with the original owner listed.
