Lots of time and money already invested, but there is still alot needed too. But consider it is being offered at only a quarter of the invested $$. Need more pictures to decide?! Looking for the ultimate Pro-Touring project?  Something that is affordable. and not like everyone elses?  Something that will fit the whole family. but that you won't see at every show?

This 1951 Lincoln Sport Sedan is really like no other.   Many know this model as the 'Baby Lincoln'. because it shares the sedan body with the 1949. 1950 and 1951 Mercury sedan.   Potential to be the ultimate 'Lead Sled'!  Or the ultimate Pro-Touring Resto-Mod. built to drive hard and fast?  I was thinking she should be called. simply.

"Hot Rod Lincoln". nbsp;

or.

"Lincoln LS Z-06"

Here are the basics.

C-4 Corvette suspension. Front and Rear 2001 Z-06 Corvette LS-6 (405+HP) w/16. 00 miles Mated to a 4l60E 4 spd Automatic Overdrive  Full length custom center console w/B&M shifter. mounted Aluminum radiator. ith electric cooling fan (not installed) VDO gauges in a custom built dash Partial electrical installed - ready to finish the wiring Extensive custom body work - shaved. smoothed. etc Includes four (4) remote door openers. with 2 remotes Undercarriage painted and Rhino-lined (inner fenders. etc) Custom grill with 9 DeSoto grill teeth included Hagen custom gas cap door

The body is very nice. but the recent paint has numerous flaws.   Personally. I picture the car a different color anyway. maybe black (or even flat black). with the red inside and underneath?  Or silver could look pretty cool too.

It still needs ALOT of work. nbsp; so to help you see what is there and what is needed. I've put together over 80 pictures in a photobucket account of the car (inside. outside and underneath). here:

80+ Photos of 1951 Lincoln 'LS Z-06' Project (on Photobucket)

NOTE:  When reviewing the photos. please be aware that if you don't see it in the photos. it likely isn't with the car.  There are lots of cool extras included. but plenty of things missing too.  That is why I've included so many pictures.

HISTORY:  I purchased this car earlier this year. nbsp;from a man who was on a mission to build his dream car.   He bought all the right 'stuff'. and spared no expense getting the project going.   In fact. he had over 50k. maybe even 60k invested to get it to this stage.   But his first 'builder' passed away during the build. and the second 'builder' turned out to be less than honest with his money. So. after these unfortunate turn of events. he lost his budget and his interest. and subsequently sold it to me.

Although I bought it with thoughts of finishing it. nbsp;I also knew that I had a few cars in line to finish before it.  Since I bought it right. I knew that if I didn't build it. I'd be able to sell it for a few extra $$'s.   And that seems to be the case. hoping that someone will have a desire and the money to finish it before I can.

If your budget isn't in the 15K+ range. I will swap the currently installed LS-6 motor/trans out for a standard LS with automatic - for a 5K reduction in price ($11. 00).   If you'd like to save this 5K. just ask for a few photos of the replacement motor (currently in a '32 Buick Victoria project that I also own).

This Lincoln is still titled in the previous owners name. and I am selling it with a signed off title (Utah) and with his. and my bills of sale.   The car is located in Paso Robles. CA - exactly 1/2 way between Los Angeles and San Francisco - on CA Hwy 101.   More specfically. I'm 200 miles to greateer LA or SF. and only 110 miles to either Bakersfield or Fresno (either/or. same either way).

If you are a sincere buyer. you can call me at 805- three nine one -0509 (cell). or email me directly at hotrodranch@live. com.   I happy to answer questions about this project. but please ask BEFORE you bid!

CORRECTION:  As of 11/2/13. I noticed that I had erroneously clicked a box saying that the Lincoln's title was subject to flood/water damage.   Is is NOT - the title is clear. and the error has been corrected.
