The TR6 was a huge hit when it was released. and Triumph produced nearly 95. 00 of these cars for the world market. Most of them were shipped abroad. especially here to the USA. The inline-6 engine was smooth. and despite only having 104 horsepower. was more than enough to make these cars extremely fun to drive. Thanks to their curb weight of under 2500 pounds and rear wheel drive architecture. the TR6 handles exceptionally well. Other standout features of the TR6 include an independent rear suspension and rack and pinion steering – amenities not normally found on 1970s vehicles.
