Thanks for looking at this awesome example of Jeep History!   This 1955 CJ-5 was owned by an orchard in Albany. NY for most of it's life.   Used as a mobile jack hammer to help break up rock encountered when planting trees!

 

The Jeep shows 244 miles on the odometer. since leaving the orchard it has only travelled short distances on and off a trailer.  The current owner has shown the Jeep at equipment/farm/car shows. where he often demonstrates the function of the compressor and tools.  Everything still works!

 

The 1955 CJ-5 is the first year for this new model.   The Jeep itself is in amazing condition. showing only patina and some minor imperfections from use.   The motor starts right up and runs nice. all of the lights work as they should and the tires hold air.  There is no body rust to speak of. the Jeep was always kept indoors!

There is NO title to this Jeep.  The original owner never titled it for street use. so it will be sold on bill-of-sale only.   There are plenty of resources avaialble to attain a title should you wish to get one.
