This is the kind of convertible that gets us excited. A rare 1969 Ford XL that has been restored/preserved in its terrific red on red factory color combo. And because these looks like the sportiest full-size Fords of the day. this one comes with its original 429 big block and four-speed manual. Oh yeah. this is a lot of Ford muscle for the money. and it has all the right paperwork to prove it. too.


The XL was the sporty trim for the Galaxie line in '69 and this one sure shows it best in Candyapple Red. This factory-correct color has been given a professional respray so this sunshine-friendly convertible looks its best on every sunny day cruise. This has been treated with care from day one. and also received all the right maintenance. so the creased body panels look amazing. the weatherstripping is malleable. doors shut with authority. It's an impressive droptop with all the right details like the hidden headlights. lower fender 429 badging. and factory Mag wheel covers. We especially like the view where you see both the front and side at the same time. There is just something about the red line running across the black grille combined with the redline tires that just tells you this is a classic droptop that's equal parts performance and style.


While this one looks great with the white folding roof in place. with the flip of a switch. the power top reveals an even more desirable red interior. The darker hue against the bold exterior color is very sporty and a bit European. This stellar level of presentation/preservation is another clue that this was a well-respected member of the family. And speaking of the brood. the full-size XL and two row bench seats means there's plenty of room to carry family and friends along for the ride. But even if it's just you. this XL excites. The entire dash and all the important controls are centered around the driver. Once we have received the funds. we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
