1975 DAIMLER SOVEREIGN -ORIGINAL VERY RARE 4.2 MANUAL WITH OVERDRIVE

Here for sale is my lovely Daimler.
She is a very rare 4. 2 manual with overdrive. and drives very well. a bit different to your normal auto series 2.

It is finished in original greensand paint although I do believe the previous owner has repainted the front end.  
Recently passed her MOT in August requiring only front ball joints which were replaced.   Suspension wise the car is very good. and I was told by the previous owner the engine was rebuilt which would account for the very good oil pressure. unfortunately though there is no paperwork to back this up.   I have used the car as a daily driver for the duration of the summer and it never let me down. starts first time. never overheats. never has low oil pressure and wipers work brilliantly. probably the best I have seen on a classic!

The interior is mostly very good. but has some general wear and tear and whoever replaced the headlining did not do a very good job of sticking it to the car! The lacquer on the dash at the passenger side is also starting to lift.
The car is currently in the process of having a new gearbox mount fitted.

The real plus point of this particular car is the bodywork. it really is immaculate.   As im sure most know the MOT here in N. Ireland is run by government test centres and is very strict and she got straight A's for the underbody condition and when viewing the car you will appreciate the external bodywork.  

There you have it. I have tried to be very honest about the car and hopefully someone will get the benefit of it. unfortunately being a Jag fan means I have one too many. including another series 2 project car!

The car is located in N. Ireland which is obviously a dissadvantage to any potential mainland buyers but the car can be delivered throughout the UK at the buyers expense if they wish to buy. of course prior contact would need to be made to arrange this.   Alternatively. ferrys to and from here are regular and reasonably cheap and quick so it can be collected and she will get you safely and reliably to wherever you might be going!

I believe the car is priced accordingly taking into account its faults and being a rare car she is certainly worth the starting price. I believe a series 1 manual sold recently for £5500 here on ebay.
