 I have owned my Rover SD1 Single Plenum Vitesse since 2004 when I bought the car from a friend who had dry stored the car since 1997. The car is original. unrestored in lovely condition. reliable and an up and coming (if not already) future classic.

 I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the time I have owned her. however it is time to now pass her on to someone else who can further enjoy the car as I have. I have exhibited the car at many car shows around the midlands and spent much time talking to other car owners who equally share my pleasure. The car attracts a lot of attention with admiration on how well the car is turned out and how it has been quite obviously loved and cherished.

I am not using the Vitesse as much as I would like and I would rather someone else use her now than just locked up in the garage hibernating away.

The car was new back in 1985 and was registered by Wednesbury Motor Services who was the Austin Rover dealer at the time.

The car is in need of nothing but she is 28 years old and as such there are some cosmetic supermarket type dinks and marks etc. a sagging headlining and a small engine oil leak in the valley gasket area. I have meticulously spent money on the car both in fixing faults as they occur but more importantly preventively maintaining her too. The bodywork in my opinion in excellent condition for her age but there are some areas that will need some attention in time to come.

The car boasts a fully fitted sports stainless exhaust with a fantastic sounding V8 burble. heat wrapped manifolds and rear swan neck box. The car has lots of bills and receipts for work carried out. The engine is strong with regular oil and filter changes using only Castrol Magnatec oils. The car has been poly bushed all round and now handles as she should. The oil in the diff has also been changed.
