The 968 became the final model in an evolving line. starting almost 20 years earlier with the introduction of the Porsche 924. The 968 is a highly upgraded version of the 944. with over 80% of that model's mechanical components replaced or significantly modified. resulting in a faster and better handling car that is also more reliable.

Rated at 236 hp. its powered by a 3. 0 liter inline 4 - again a refined version of the motor in the 944. Changes to the 968's powertrain also included the addition of Porsche's then-new VarioCam variable valve timing system. newly optimized induction and exhaust systems. a dual-mass flywheel. and updated engine management electronics among other more minor revisions.  

This one in particular runs fantastic. It has just 10. 85 original miles on it. and it is in absolutely remarkable condition inside and out. Clean. well preserved examples of the 968 are getting harder and harder to find. and this one is outstanding.

Options include the TipTronic transmission. 17" rims. leather seats with power controls. a factory CD layer and more. Porsche floor mats and a car cover are included.
