1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28 for sale
Current customer rating: (163 votes ) based onThis 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 2nd generation Camaro was a much better car than its predecessor. The original Camaro was rushed along due to Chevy being caught off guard by the Mustang. After the tremendous success of GM’s own Pony car the second generation would have a virtual unlimited budget. Known as the Super Hugger the cars were lower wider and leaner giving them a stance that was unlike any other. The Z28 was the rarest of the bunch with only 2500 being produced in 72 this beauty is a great collector piece. This true RS split bumper car has had a heart transplant to say the least. Gone is the small block replaced by a monstrous cubic inch big block. Built using forged internals with a set of 9 to 1 SRP pistons this thing is close to bullet proof. The big oval heads allow this engine to breathe better especially when matched up with the Comp Cam. The matching Edelbrock intake and carb compliment the complete set up nicely. Of course. the billet pulleys on the front of the motor give it a nice clean finished look. The built TH350 shifts out nicely with firm positive up shifts you will know exactly what gear it’s in. The 8. 5 10 bolt Posi rear-end is guaranteed to give some nice and smoky burn outs but with the brand-new Centerline wheels and tires you may want to wait a couple months. Inside has been redone in fresh black vinyl and shows nicely. The gauges have all been replaced by a set Auto-Meter gauges that are not only as accurate as they come but look good while doing it. If you have wanted to get one of these up and coming classics the time has never been better. Options on this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28/RS include; AM/FM/CD. Power Steering. Vinyl Interior. and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. To view this car in full detail with HD pictures and video on this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/RS call our Louisville showroom at . or email us at
