1959 Austin Healey Sprite

THIS IS A SUPER LOW PRICE I HAVE OVER $20. 00 INTO THIS BUG EYE . 275cc. disc brakes. oil cooler. electric fan. are just a few upgrades basically The MG Midgets built after 1973 seem to have the best parts to upgrade your Bug Eye with I Purchased a 1275 motor and trans had it rebuilt with new rings . new pistons . had the head rebuilt installed a new head gasket along with all the other gaskets and rings that are part of the engine rebuild kit Moss Motors sells . then got the disc breaks from another MG Midget had them taken apart and rebuilt I changed the whole front end . I stripped the front of the car every nut and bolt ( I HAVE THE PICTURES SHOWING THE BUG EYE WITH NO MOTOR OR TRANS IN IT AND THE FRONT END INCLUDING THE STEERING RACK . BREAKS . SHOCKS . RADIATOR EVERYTHING REMOVED AND THE CAR SITTING ON JUST THE BACK WHEELS )Disc brakes vs the old Drum is a must if you want to stop . added the front and rear sway bars the rear sway bars makes the car handle so much better this is a must for every Bug Eye  it handles like its on rails nice and flat Mini Lite style sport wheels with brand new tires (not a set of new tires that have been sitting for years) 
I stripped the complete front end every Nut and Bolt then Sand blasted the firewall and the complete engine compartment . rebuilt or re placed every nut and bolt and put it back together . the front end is brand new I have all the pic. and parts invoices  to prove it . The top is brand new . and the paint is brand new and not a single scratch on it the whole car . I have about $5. 00 in the front end alone and receipts from British Victoria . Moss Motors.  
The cooling system is upgraded to the newer style found on MG Midgets with the 1500 motor. The wiring harness is brand new and period correct . the master clutch cylinder and break cylinder have been upgraded they are much larger than the stock ones . Everything has been upgraded and improved .  
To add power I added a Weber Carb and a set of headers . this combo with the bigger motor makes this Bug Eye Freeway ready . and hills are no problem . Not pictured but will be on the car when you buy it are the rear bumpers. the hood emblem the Sprite emblem for the rear. The only thing i would change is the color of the carpet . Moss Motors sells a Black or Red carpet kit for the car that would look great . the car would be really nice  if you changed it. I got the saddle color kit and dont like it . I am sure I am missing a few more things . like all the rubber has been replaced around the window and the lights and a few other places . I got the kit from Moss that swaps out the generator for a altinator . all the light bulb are brand new . all the guts of the turn signals are brand new . the car does not leak oil drop of oil . never runs hot . has plenty of power ( its night and day compared to a stock Bug Eye I know I had a 948cc Sprite) This Sprite is basiclly a new car under the hood and through out the car . the steering rack has been replaced with that of a newer sprite all the bushing and bearing have been replaced. I kept every receipt showing what was purchased and I have more pics of the work being done . if you would like to see more pics just let me know . I picked the color I was tired of all the same old Sprite Colors and wanted something classy and new . so I had the paint shop take a Audi Gunmetal gray then add a tiny bit of flake . and then add a tiny bit of British Racing green . the body is super straight  . over 4 months was spent just sanding the body and fixing any spots that needed work ( driver side rocker panel was repairs the correct way a area of about the size of a quarter was fixed) I would have no problem getting in this Sprite and driving it anywhere I wanted for hundreds of miles . here is a Sprite you can drive and enjoy without having to spend a bunch of money on it and you will have the confidence because  it has power . and it will stop on a dime . plus with all the upgrades it is reliable and fun. This Sprites are going for $20. 00 and the ones that are under $9000 are junk and need a lot of work I think this Sprite will be a super deal I have a low reserve price ( I want to sell the car ) I know I will not get back what I put into the car . so my loss is your gain . I will help load the car if you need it transported . I can also drive it down to the port if you want to ship it . I have no issues driving this Sprite in LA traffic it runs that good . Please look at the detail in the motor . no oil leaks the motor and bay are super clean every nut and bolt has been replaced or restored and painted . YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER SPRITE MECHANICLY  SPEAKING . OVER ALL THIS CAR IS A 9 OUT OF 10 . I WILL BE PUTTING BACK ON THE FACTORY STEERING WHEEL WITH THE FACTORY EMBLEM FRONT EMBLEM WILL BE INSTALLED REAR SPRITE EMBLEM WILL BE INSTALLEDREAR BUMPERS WILL BE INSTALLED CHROME RINGS AROUND LIGHTS WILL BE INSTALLED I AM PRICING THIS SPRITE FOR WELL BELOW THE MARKET VALUE (I NEED TO SELL IT !) THERE IS A BIG HEALEY SOMEONE HAS GIVEN ME THE CHANCE TO BUY OR ELSE I WOULD NOT BE SELLING THIS SPRITE . IT RUNS TOO GOOD THIS SPRITE IS WORTH A LOT MORE HOWEVER I WANT IT SOLD AND I AM ONLY SHORT A SMALL AMOUNT TO MAKE THIS OTHER PURCHASE HENCE THE LOW PRICE DO NOT LET THE LOW PRICE FOOL YOU THIS SPRITE CAN HOLD ITS OWN WITH OTHERS THAT HAVE SOLD FOR $20. 00 + 
MAYBE A NEW CARPET KIT BLACK OR RED ( AM NOT SURE IF i GET BOARD i MIGHT JUST DO IT . I KNOW THE CAR WOULD LOOK SUPER GOOD WITH RED OR BLACK INSIDE IT )
