This 1967 Chevelle has been in my family for over eighteen years. It was painted Toarch Red two years ago and has been kept in storage only driven an average of three times a month after the car was painted.
The body is incredibly straight. Completely free of scratches or any small dents. The trim. bumpers and badges are in excellent condition. It has an SS hood but is not an SS car. It is however a factory air car although it is not hooked up.
The engine is a nicely built 327 with a good lope on the cam. Holley four barel carb. Dart 2. 02 heads. Roller rockers. MSD distributor and box. The engine compartment is nicely painted and shows well. 350 automatic trans with a mild shift kit.
The suspension has been completely rebuilt. Power steering with new ball joints. ushings and tie rods. Tracks nicely down the road. Two inch drop spindle and one inch drop springs. All new calipers. brake lines. master cylinder rear brakes. Tires have less than 5000 miles on them.
The interior is completely stock except for the floor shifter and the tach. The original steering wheel is included with the car. A Retro Sound stereo is installed and the dash has not been cut. It has an aux jack for your phone. I just replaced the door weatherstripping as it was getting a bit hard. Doors close nicely. The hood. doors and fenders are all expertly fitted for alignment. The heater works wonderfully. The carpet is less than a year old. Equipped with Autometer gauges and tach.
This is a really great car with very few ugly bits. The following are the known defects and photos of them are in the listing. On the drivers seat bottom there is a split along the seam. The floors are in great shape except for the drivers which has some rust. Nothing extensive but I have to note it. In the trunk on the left side there is also some rust. Mostly surface with one pinhole. The bottoms of the doors. rear window and the bottoms of all four fenders are in excellent shape. I know this car has been in California for the last 25 years.
Please ask any questions. The car is also for sale locally. It would be even better if you would see it in person or send someone to see it if you are a serious bidder.
