1968 Triumph TR250 Extremely Nice 73,000 miles all Original Looks and Runs Exc.

Very nice running Triumph that has been meticulously cared for by 2 previous owners.  The car came from out west and does not exhibit any signs of rust which typically plague these cars. The motor is all original and runs like a clock. The car shifts. brakes and runs as intended. These 6 cylinder TR250's are so much more fun to drive than your typical TR4's. The big 6 cylinder motor really powers the car up hills and on the interstate as well. Over the last few years. the previous owner had Niswonger rebuild the gauges. installed new interior and the car was repainted at some point in its life. The paint on the car is beautiful with no checking. peeling. fading etc. a very good quality paint job. The dash has been refinished and looks very nice. also a wood steering wheel has been added. The front stripe is perfect as well. Please look at the pictures and ask questions! The car has recently been fitted with Dayton 72 spoke chrome wire wheels and new Michelin red line tires. The car also has electronic ignition and all of the electric is perfect with no wire splices etc. this car has never  been abused or messed with and you can tell when you drive or examine the car closely. The only odd thing the car does is sometimes makes a little whir at lower speeds on de-acceleration. a British mechanic has inspected the car and states that the nose is from a pinion bearing in the rear end and may have to be replaced sometime in the future. It  has been making the same noise for years as I have been told.  The car can be  seen at my home or driven if you are in the  St. Louis area. Please call with questions at 636-542-1432. I can hold the car in my garage for a period of time. Also. the car still has  the original top which is functional. but not perfect. the car comes with a full tonneau and boot cover. Recently. I added a brand new luggage rack which I feel really finishes the classic look to these cars! Also. I have the original Black air cleaner and the original TR250 Steering wheel.  The car is for sale locally and I would be happy to discuss purchasing. shipping options etc. I am only selling this car to purchase another classic car which came up for sale recently and a car which I previously owned and had a sentimental attachment.
