TVR 1800S for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.5) based on 561 votes
Up for auction is a rare TVR 1800S project car. This model TVR has one of the most classic TVR shapes ever built. Check out finished cars on the web under 1800S or even the formidable Griffith 400. Do your research you won't be disappointed with this 1800S TVR.
Check out the photograph's of this car. this isn't a junk yard. or barn find; as it is in much better shape. The bodywork. and finish level that the car has so far.  was done by a known. and well regarded  British restoration shop in the Washington DC area. that specializes in TVR's. The car came to the shop with a minor rear end shunt that was expertly repaired. Some extra finish work was done to the 1800S to enhance the appearance. and structural integrity.
Where the value of this car really shines is in the excellent condition of the stock frame as built by the  TVR factory in Blackpool England.  This car is solid……check out the photos for details. As any aficionado of TVR's knows. it is nearly impossible to find an original 1800S with a perfectly suitable original frame. This 1800S is one of those cars.
As far as condition goes. the photographs give the best portrayal. However. there are some residential  garage Knicks. and areas where the bodywork should be addressed before further painting.
I believe the car is very complete. although it is missing some of the dashboard switches. The dashboard is in relic shape. However. all the bumpers are there as well as the rare rear lights. aluminum window frames. front and rear glass (with a  few scratches that I think that can be polished out). etc. All the rare impossible parts are included as far as I can tell; the car is very complete.
It is missing the little front window VIN id tag. as it was missing when I acquired the car. The VIN is stamped on the frame of the car. and matches up to the Virginia title.
The MGB engine has been taken apart. easy to source any missing bits. Transmission is included. New bushings in the A arms.
Basically. I am selling this car as a restoration project that in my opinion has a frame and body that is practically ready to go. There is even some left over paint that should finish the car off. if you want a red car.
Let the photos do the talking. If you see it in the photos it is included. Those are the parts you will get. If you dont see it in the photos. it isn't included. So. ask questions before you commit yourself to your bid. as I may have overlooked something.
I have owned several TVR's in the past. and am on the board of directors for the TVRCCNA. so it is important for me to sell this car with no misunderstandings. If you have sincere interest. please ask any questions. or ask for additional photos. Last minute haggling after the agreed auction price will not be entertained what so ever.
I will be available at time of pick up. which is at my Northern VA. home. Will provide any answers to any of your questions. at that time as well.
All funds  for the purchase of the car. must in my local bank of choice. and cleared 100%. and available for me to withdraw; or the car doesn't leave my possession. A non refundable deposit of $500. 00 is due to me within 2 days after the auction closes. I reserve the right to sell the car locally. outside of this auction.  Don't waste your time. or my patience with a low ball buy it now offer. I reserve the right to end or cancel the auction.

Winning bidder will receive 1 years membership in the TVR Car Club of North America.
