For your consideration is this great rust free example of the classic R107 chassis SL. The beauty and classic styling of the 107 chassis was so ahead of its time that it was in production for nearly 30 years without any major styling changes! It is. in my opinion. one of the most beautiful roadsters that Mercedes-Benz ever made and most recently collectors are beginning to appreciate the cars simple. but classic lines and advanced engineering.

-Exterior-

The paint is in great condition and has a great shine. The chrome bumpers and trim are in very good condition.

This roadster comes with both hard and soft top. The hard top is in great condition as well as the: headliner. dash. and upholstery. The original soft top is in very good condition as well. Rims are good shape with little curb rash.

-Interior-

Odometer has stop working which is a common issue with this particular model. Mercedes mechanic has inspected and there is no sludge buildup. Car has been rarely driven in the last 5 years. Title is clean with 3 owners. The burgundy Interior is in very good condition. The leather on the seats is soft and in excellent condition. there is only a very small amount of normal wear on the driver's side bolster. Just replace radio with a Pioneer Bluetooth model. The original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM Cassette radio is not working. The wood trim is in good condition. there are no hairline cracks that are common on Mercedes vehicles of this vintage.

-Engine & Transmission-

The original 5. 6 eight cylinder engine fires up on the first try and runs nice and smooth. It runs and idles as it should. with no problems. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the gears with no slipping or jerking. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train. all you hear is the wind whipping through your hair. it drives nice and straight at any speed.
