1987 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500

I like to start out by letting you know a little about myself. and if you have any questions please call me at 406-317-2416.   It is nice to get to know each other.   My name is John.   Our family has been doing missionary work in Liberia. West Africa for about the last 6 years.   We have funded the building of an elementary school. a medical clinic. and we aid and support orphans after they get kicked out of dishonest orphanages.   When you know the reality of it. it just makes you cry.   I find nice old vehicles and sell them to help support the work we do over there.   These are some others that are for sale.   I have (basically all rust free) a nice 1987 Silverado K1500 short box 4x4. 84 Silverado K1500 short box 4x4. 70 K10 short box 4x4. 70 K20 Cheyenne Camper Special 4x4 (highly optioned). 73 K10 long box 4x4 only 73k original miles. all original no rust 64 Jeep Gladiator J200 4x4 short box. a 75 and 77 Ford crew cab (both 4x4 short boxes). 05 Jeep TJ Wrangler 98k miles. 1976 first year CJ7 no rust original paint. 85 Suzuki Samurai nicely converted to VW diesel. 69 Nissan Patrol. 57 GMC 4x4 Napco. 73 International IH Travelette 4x4 crew cab. 73 AMC Gremlin. 2 door 69 AMC Rebel SST. and a 84 AMC Eagle Wagon.   I listed this 1987 GMC earlier. but a person bid and won the auction and did not have the funds.   He waited until after the auction to apply for a loan and could not get it.   Please only bid if you have the cash on hand.

     Thanks for listening and now on to this 1987 GMC truck.   It is a very nice 1987 GMC Sierra 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup.  These years are getting to be quite collectible since it was the last year of the square body and the first year of fuel injection.  I live in the west where we do not get salt in the winters like places back east. and even here it is getting hard to find a clean original square body Chevrolet/GMC.  This truck is very original (even has the original radio). very solid. and virtually rust free.  The body is excellent.  It was painted some time ago and looks nice.   The only rust is a small hole by where the heel of your foot working the gas pedal would be and a pea size hole in the driver side cab corner.   I look all the time and it is getting to be impossible to find them in this condition anymore.  I have owned this truck for a few years and it has a great running fuel injected 350 V8 engine mated to a 4 speed. with granny low. manual transmission.   Four wheel drive works great.   Clutch is good and does not slip.   The air conditioning was a dealer ad on so all the A/C equipment is nicely tucked up under the dash.   That is the reason you do not see the evaporator or large heater box on the firewall under the hood.   The compressor was removed.   The truck was set up for a slide in camper and has the extra wiring under the hood and inside the box.   For towing. the truck also has a heavy duty receiver hitch and an electronic trailer brake.   It has dual tanks and both work but the right one drips.   The power steering pump leaks a little but not a hard to fix if you want to.   The windshield has a couple cracks.   The five digit odometer reads 57. XX.  I was told it was original mileage and owned by a Grandfather originally.   The seat and foam is in great comfortable condition and the foam feels awesome to sit on with no sagging.   The seat has only a few split seams on the driver side.  Tires are in good condition with good tread left.   It truly is a nice solid truck that drives well.   If you have 0 to 5 feedback. nbsp;please call me first so your bid does not get cancelled.   As you read above. many times people bid and never follow through.   It is listed locally so if it sells the auction will be ended.   Thank you very much.
