1968 Triumph TR250 frame off restoration! for sale

 Here is a beautiful 1968 Triumph TR250 that has gone through a very comprehensive frame off restoration. Original colors of Valencia Blue with the black interior as shown on the VIN tag. Body serial number of 1581CC. I removed original engine early last year to have a hi-performance rebuild done on it. but communication from the builder ceased well over a year ago and at this point I'm not about to store the car any longer! If the winning bidder would like to know the whereabouts of this engine. I will provide this information to them. The engine I just installed this past weekend is a low mile engine out of a '71 I'm guessing or that's what I was told. The number on this engine is CC66992E. I bolted a NOS head 516323 on it. and it runs perfect! It doesn't leak or burn any oil and runs strong. stronger than my '76 TR6!! This is with the carburetters off of my '76 though as the originals I couldn't get to work! The list of receipts that were kept to re-create this car is about 2" thick. countless hours and dollars were spent to make this car perfect! It would take me another 3 days just to dive into all of the details. I will answer any specific questions you may have about any details about the car. And I can add to the description as the auction moves along. I have the matching hardtop that mates to the Surrey top. I also have the convertible top that would need to be restored. the original RO-style wheels and about 3 or 4 boxes of other misc. parts that will go with the car. Sorry for the no so great quality on some of the photos. I can take better pics or any you request when the weather permits. The under carriage of the car is just as nice as the top side. This car will sell at no reserve. I need my garage and some of my sanity back. the latter is going to be the tough one to return. Thanks for looking!
