I was planning maybe doing something with this car down the line. but I am not sure I will have time. so I figured I would list it to see if there is anyone out there that would be intersted in giving this car what it needs.

This 1982 Bremen Sebring (Sterling) is a dealer built car rather than a home kit. and was a demo/showroom model at the OKC Oklahoma Bremen dealer in the early 80's. and when they shut down. the car basically sat around from there. The fuel system has been flushed out. so it is a running and driving car right now. with Cold Air Conditioning.   I had just had some new tires put on the car. because the original tires were dry rotted and flat spotted. so all is good there. Everything on the car works. so it really just needs some cosmetic things done.

The body and Gel Coat of the car is actually in excellent shape. and could probably be buffed back out by a qualified detail guy. because there isnt any of the typical surface cracking/scratches in the exterior gel coat surface.  The interior of the car is all intact. but the graphite carpet faded to green. and the seats ofcourse need recovering from sitting. but it would actually be cheaper and quicker to replace them with New Updated Performance Seats.

I had the AC System switched over to 134a. and it works great. I had also just installed a brand new 90amp altenator. because the original just didnt seem to put out enough amperage due to its age.

If you need any additional information on the car. I will be happy to provide it to you. I am not sure about the VW Engine size. but I will assume it is a 1600cc.   The car is Titled as a 1982 Bremen Sebring. and was a professional built car back in the day.   It does need a Windshield. but they can be had for 800 dollars. and I can provide the information on that. There are updated body parts like Rear Louver Kits. Upper (Lamborghini) style quarter panel air intakes. Full Lower Rocker/Rear Panel Air Intakes. Air Intakes for the front hood available for these cars. Ferrari F40 Style Headlamp Kits. nbsp;so it would be very easy and economical to complete update this car to a more modern look.   Here is a link to some of the items and pricing for the modern updates.   http://www. shop. sterlingsportscars. com/Accessories-For-Style_c5. htm

Here is a YouTube walk around video. and from here you can see the Motorized Canaopy works fine. and the car runs fine.

I have a very reasonable transport company that I use. and he is generally about half what they typical ebay shipper quote is. so I will be happy to share that with any serious bidders.
