   Up for sale is a beautiful 1973 Mercedes-Benz W108  280SE 4. 5.  The 4. 5 is one of the first in what has now become  Mercedes-Benz legendary Super Sports Sedans!   This 280SW is a two owner. with the previous owner having the car since 1991!  It has never been in an accident or modified.    This car has been in dry Arizona since the early 1990's and is very  solid.  There are not many like this left!  The  280SE 4. 5 is in excellent condition and will surely please!

This 280SE 4. 5 is finished in its original Blue  (903) paint.   The car has seen one repaint in the late 1990's.    This was a high quality paint job with all of the trim. lights. and  badging removed.   All of the doors. hood. and trunk line up great  with appropriate panel gaps.   Since then. the car has been garage kept. driven on sunny days and the  blue paint is extremely vibrant and looks stunning.   This 280SE is  very solid and appears to retain all original metal including its floor  pans.   All of the rubber seals are still in great shape.   The windshield shows  very minor pitting.    This W108 wears a like new set of 205/70/14 tires.   Overall. the exterior of this  280SE 4. 5 is in excellent condition and is truly a rare find!

  The beautiful blue interior of this car is in superb condition!  The  interior was redone on the late 1990's with factory materials and the interior that shows very well.  The seats are very supportive and show  little to no wear on the bolsters. the carpet is in excellent condition. and the dash shows little to no wear at all.    The door panels are in very good condition.   All of the wood is in very  good condition. with only minor cracking on the glove box door.   The  headliner in in very good condition and is not showing any signs of discoloration.  The A/C system  has been updated to modern R134 Freon and blows ice cold.   All of the  lights and gauges work as they should.  The power windows operate as they should.    The factory radio has been updated to a modern Panasonic CD player that works as it should.   Overall. the interior is in  superb condition.

  Mechanically the car is exceptionally sound.  The  M117 4. 5L V8 engine fires right up and is a blast to drive!   The engine is mated to an automatic transmission that shifts great through all the gears.  The cooling system is in great operating condition and keeps the car cool in Arizona's heat.  The steering is  very tight and the car handles extremely well.   The  suspension had been regularly greased and glides down the road.  The factory  brakes feel great while stopping this  sports sedan with ease.   Overall. this car is mechanically  sound and ready to be driven and enjoyed.

This W108 is an excellent weekend toy or daily driver.  This is a great chance to own an exceptional. two owner. accident free 280SE 4. 5.     The 280SE 4. 5 is outstanding. both inside and out. and is located in sunny Scottsdale. Arizona!
